Accountant (Car Rental Industry Experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the car rental industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable specific to car rental operations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and fleet-related expenses.
• Monitor rental income, deposits, and payment schedules.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Process payroll and commission calculations for employees.
• Support audits and internal financial reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle depreciation, insurance, and maintenance costs.
• Provide financial insights to optimize profitability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in the car rental industry).
• Proficiency in accounting softwares
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
• Experience with fleet cost management and rental agreements is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
